Quick recall: in 1894 a Jewish officer in the French army, Captain Alfred Dreyfus, was falsely accused of treason. Mobs in France soon gathered screaming “death to the Jews” - this in the birthplace of Jewish emancipation.

Fast forward to last Thursday evening in modern day Britain and the BBC’s Newsnight programme: According to one Michael Crick (Michael’s a Hebrew name, is he an secret Jew?) and a retired defence intelligence analyst, Peter Kelly, Israel got its nuclear capabilities from a treacherous British Jewish middle-ranking civil servant with obvious “dual loyalty” because his middle name was Israel (?) Why Kelly and Crick couldn’t bring themselves to say what they really meant, i.e. Michaels had treacherous dual loyalty because he was a Jew, is a real shame. There’s only one thing worse than overt antisemitism and that is the need to conceal behind synonyms for Jew, namely Israel and Zionism. To describe such journalism as underhand is an understatement.

The juxtaposition of this programme at a time when Iran is building nuclear weapons with the intention of wiping Israel off the map is too obvious to need pointing out. However, the other dangerous point of the programme, that it’s not Iran that’s the real threat, nor its Jihadist sympathisers in Britain, but Israel and British Jews who are the real traitors and threat to world peace, is something increasingly planted into the general populus by anti-Zionists/antisemites. Where have we seen this before? Oh yeah, France, 1894.

Perhaps the only real difference with the Dreyfus affair is that Dreyfus was alive at the time to defend himself (not that it did him much good). Michael “Israel” Michaels is dead and is subsequently being smeared posthumously.

Just wondering: I once knew a guy who told me he knew a guy (covert stuff) called Shalom Shalom. I wonder if he works for the British government as well. Perhaps he’s in the department that deals with prison observers abroad…
